  1. I own a 42″ Shap Aquos (LC-42D62U the be exact) and the picture quality is just amazing. Everyone who sees it comments on how nice the picture looks. Brand does matter sometimes. I have a smaller LCD and a Plasma from other makers, but for some reason the Aquos just displays brighter and sharper.
